Availability
The Oracle connector is available under SOCK → Sources → Add source → Connect System. It supports Oracle Database 19 and is certified through 23. It uses python-oracledb in thin mode, so Oracle Instant Client is not required.

Address resolution uses this precedence: connect descriptor → TNS alias → SID → EZConnect.
Select the evidence scope
In Oracle, a selected schema is an owner. Leave the schema blank to discover every owner the connecting user can read, then narrow the harness to the approved schemas and objects. Choose bounded samples only when the data classification permits them.
Version and readiness checks
A server below Oracle 19 is refused before harness files are written. A server above the certified range is captured with an uncertified-version warning. If the driver readiness check fails, repair the local Python dependency and retry; do not install Oracle Instant Client solely for this connector.
