Before you begin
- Use MSOCK on the desktop. The web application cannot run the local setup session.
- Sign in as a workspace administrator for the exact workspace you are setting up.
- Install Claude Code and complete its sign-in on the same machine. The Welcome journey's Prerequisites step reports both.
Sign in and choose the workspace

Enter your work email
Open MSOCK, enter the work email with workspace admin access, and complete enterprise sign-in.

Choose the workspace
If the workspace chooser appears, select the workspace you intend to set up. Accounts with one workspace skip this screen.
Open workspace setup

Open the setup entry point
Use Set up workspace on the launcher, or open Admin Console from the top-right corner.

Select the target workspace and open its Setup tab.

Start setup
Choose Set up workspace. This is a one-time operation for the workspace.
Answer the existing-knowledge question
MSOCK asks Do you have an existing SOCK (knowledge)? Choose Yes when you have an existing docs/ folder to bring in, or No for a fresh start. The setup button enables once you answer.
Your answer decides which knowledge line this workspace is on, and therefore which organ pack it receives.
Let setup run
Setup runs its steps without further input.

| Finish setup | Records the result and unlocks the modules |
You can show the session's details while it runs, and expand the view to full screen.
Confirm completion
When the wizard reports the workspace as set up and shows the published line's version and distribution identifier, choose Done and reload the launcher. The module tiles unlock for everyone in the workspace.
If setup does not complete
