What you will achieve
You will create a work item, confirm its lifecycle stage, review the artefacts required for its first gate, and follow the approval or rejection outcome.
Create and move the item
- 01
Open Command Center
Choose the relevant project on desktop or web.
- 02
Create an epic or story
Use the creation action available in the current board or work-item view and provide the required details.
- 03
Confirm the lifecycle stage
Verify that the item starts in the expected stage and that ownership and review context are visible.
- 04
Review required artefacts
For Gate 1, inspect the PRD and HLD shown in the item. Create missing artefacts through the approved command-line process.
- 05
Submit for review
Move the item into the applicable gate workflow and confirm which reviewer slots are required.
- 06
Record the decision
A reviewer approves or rejects. A rejection must name the reason and the change needed.
- 07
Continue or revise
Progress to the next stage when requirements are met, or update the work and resubmit after rejection.
Verify the result
- The work item is visible in the expected board view.
- The current stage and per-gate state are unambiguous.
- Required artefacts can be opened by the reviewer.
- The reviewer decision and rejection reason, when applicable, are visible.
